Professional Psychotherapy for Adults and Couples
- Are you feeling stuck?
- Are grief, anxiety or depression holding you back?
- Has it been a long time since you and your partner were connected?
- Is your relationship gridlocked by persistent conflict or stuck in the quicksand
of emotional detachment? - Are you trying to heal from trauma?
- Do you want to stop criticizing yourself?
- Would you like to feel more joyful, confident and alive?
Life is a continuous process of growth and change, and when this process gets blocked or disrupted, we begin to feel stuck. Psychotherapy offers clients the opportunity to explore what may be standing in the way of moving in the direction they desire. I use a relational lens to help individuals and couples identify and work through impasses that impede their growth and healing.
Therapy is a launching pad for becoming more connected
to oneself and others.
Therapy is a launching pad for becoming more connected
to oneself and others.
Research shows that health and well-being are dramatically improved when we are meaningfully connected to others, and change is more likely to occur when we are in a state of self-compassion; our bodies and emotions grow calmer. Self-criticism only serves to keep us stuck. By cultivating self-compassion and strengthening our relationships, we develop greater strength and resilience in tackling life’s inevitable roadblocks.
The process of therapy requires great courage and a safe emotional environment. It is an honor to accompany clients on their journey toward more fulfilling, productive lives.
