Client Information

My practice is composed of clients from diverse racial, ethnic, cultural and religious/spiritual backgrounds and practices. I see both heterosexual and same-sex couples and welcome all sexual and gender identities and preferences.

It is common to feel nervous when you first begin therapy.  There is no “right” or “wrong” way to engage in therapy; each client’s journey is unique. My job is to create an atmosphere of safety and to earn your trust. All you need to bring to the equation is a sense of curiosity about yourself and/or your partner, a willingness to stretch in new ways, and the recognition that change requires effort and persistence. While our work may bring up painful feelings, this is a normal part of the growth process. Your hard work will be rewarded when you reach your desired destination.

Early sessions will focus on exploring what brought you to therapy, how your life and relationships are being impacted by the issue(s) you identify, and clarifying your goals for therapy. Subsequent sessions will focus on exploring what stands in the way of achieving your goals and developing new ways of moving through the world.  

Hours: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

My standard rate for a 50-minute individual session is $150 and my standard rate for couples therapy is $175 for 55 minutes and $250 for 90 minutes. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. Fees may be paid by check, Zelle or credit card.

Please note that I do not accept insurance. You may be eligible to receive out-of-network reimbursement from your health insurance company. Clients wishing to submit for reimbursement will be provided with all necessary documentation and will be guided in the process of filing claims.
